Copy it to Home Folder
Open Terminal
Type the command
sudo rpmbuild -tb e1000e.tar.gz Press Enter
Give root Password Press Enter
Restart the System now
After restarting Open home folder and extract the file e1000e-2.5.4.tar.gz in home
Then Open the Terminal
Type the following command
cd e1000e-2.5.4/src
The prompt will be changed
example. gangayil@gangayil-desktop:~/e1000e-2.5.4/src$
Now type the following command
sudo make install
Then type the following command
sudo modprobe e1000e
Wow the connection will be established
